Kick off summer this year in the picturesque Botanic Gardens with The Better Together Festival!
Our day-night festival is a family friendly fundraiser withs kid's play zone, food & drinks and live music to take us into the evening.
All funds raised at The Better Together Festival will help see all abilities equipment installed at the Lakes Edge Adventure Playground, because we feel strongly that all children deserve to play side by side.
Former Hamilton girl and dual Olympic and Paralympic table tennis player, Milly Tapper is our proud ambassador and festival MC.
Starting at 3pm, ours kid's zone has a range of activites to keep the young ones entertained, including:
- Face Painting
- Jumping Castle
- Roaming Characters
Your ticket includes an evening of live music from the best of our local talent including:
- Phil Holmes
- The Settlement
- DJ Tyler Smith & Isaiah Silcock
- Temper Street Band
- Soulty
- Alannah Olivia
Winda-Mara will also perform a Welcome to Country.
We're so happy to bring the Greater Hamilton community together for The Better Together Festival on Saturday, December 2 so we can all help to create an inclusive and diverse community.
As a group, we chose this date to align with the International Day of People with Disability, celebrated every year on December 3.
Our festival shares the same values as the IDPWD program, which aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.
