Young Carers Network

Description

A Young Carer is a person up to the age of 25 years old who provides unpaid care and support to a loved one, including family members, or friends with a disability, physical or mental illness, a substance dependency or who is aged.

There are 2.65 million unpaid carers in Australia and at least 235,000 of these are young carers. The YCN is a nationally coordinated website to raise young carer awareness, provide information, and direct young carers to appropriate pathways for support.
